It was just three years ago when Lynn P., 2-Star Golden Circle and Crystal Executive, was introduced to a line of health-and-wellness products that changed her career. “I was in a position where I had to work very long hours as a dental hygienist to make our family’s ends meet,” says Lynn. “When I was introduced to Isagenix I didn’t even know it was a network marketing company.”
With Lynn’s active lifestyle, she soon began to see the results of Isagenix working in her body. “I had success with the products,” explains Lynn, “so I decided to take a look at the business.” Eager to find success, Lynn woke up early each morning, about an hour before the rest of her family, so she could focus on prospecting and growing her new network-marketing venture. “I would use my lunch hour at the office to reply to calls or Facebook messages,” reflects Lynn.
Isagenix has been Lynn’s first network marketing opportunity and she explains, “The first year of starting my business I usually introduced my prospecting leads to the products,” she continues, “but I knew building two skinny binary team-legs wasn’t getting me anywhere fast with the business.” She decided to try a different approach to prospecting by introducing her leads to the business-side of Isagenix first. “I think leading with the business was a smart option because I can also fall back on the product if the business isn’t for them.”
Loving Freedom and Family Time
Now after three years of learning and leaping into network marketing, Lynn has been able to achieve her ultimate goal of becoming a retiree.
“As my income grew with Isagenix, I started to work less hours at the office,” says Lynn. “I wanted to retire by June 15, 2013 – my 20-year anniversary as a dental hygienist.” And she did just that.
Having the time that she once only dreamed of to spend with her two children, Lynn now works from home to continuously grow her Isagenix business. “This was the first summer that I’ve had off with my kids,” she says. “We came to an agreement that I could have my calls in the morning and have the day to spend with them. I love being able to do my work in the morning before anyone is up!”
Looking Toward the Future
Since earning residual income with Isagenix, Lynn has saved up for several things she hadn’t been able to afford before Isagenix. She decided to purchase a hot tub for her home in Ontario and invest in a Southern resort property to escape the cold Canadian winters. “My husband and I knew we had the extra income so we decided to invest in a property in Florida,” she explains. Lynn enjoys using the wireless Internet by the pool to run her business while the kids get to swim.
Although relaxing in Florida is not where Lynn’s dreams end, she still plans for the road ahead. “My future goal is to bring my husband home. He’s currently working in a corporate business and is at a fairly high-stress level,” explains Lynn. “We’d love to be able to do Isagenix full time and grow this business together.” She also adds, “By January 31, 2014 I want to be a 3-Star Golden Circle and in the future be recognized as a Top Income Earner.”
Tips for Success
- Create a schedule and live in that schedule every single day. Being consistent and persistent is what’s going to win the race in this business.
- Use the free tools that are available to you like reading the trainings and listening to podcasts at least 5 times a week.
- Don’t spend too much time getting ready to start this business. You don’t need to feel 100% ready, just use the tools and jump in!
